Description
Created with UF 5.04, another 'Buddhabrot', this one from the Rational Newton Mandelbrot formula from lkm3.ufm. You might say this is another tribute to Mandelbrot - it is the last day of the year in which he died and therefore appropriate in memorium of him. Full view please.
I guess it could also be regarded as a sequel to Under the Bodhi Tree [link] . 'Bodhimanda' is the historical name for Bodh Gaya, the place in which the Buddha is said to have acheived enlightenment. 'Bodhimanda' translates as 'ground surrounding the bodhi tree'.
I was in two minds about the composition here - I could have but the minibrot in the centre but I liked the trees in the foreground quite a bit.
